Hudl2 used
Bought the hudl to replace my old Kindle fire HD. it has lots more features and mare apps available. more reliable and better playablility , But the battery life is shocking, maybe only a few hours surfing and playing games whereas the kindle would last a full day . But because i bought it second hand i think i got a bargainRead full review
Usb white socket female on new board too wide i.e vertically
Usb white socket female on new board too wide i.e vertically. Does not make electrical contact when pluged in. Very loose socket does not grip the male USB cable.
New board is same part number as old one i.e. 13802T3801.....CON 3803....SPK_R
New board has white female USB socket ....old board has black female USB socket
New board has white female audio socket .... old board has black female USB socket ( which incidentally plugs in OK and makes good electrical contact.

HUDL 2 Great tablet - all features I want
I have an original hudl which I am very pleased with. Use it on my boat for navigation. Got a bit damp and I thought it had died but just a bit corroded in charging port. Replaced with new port from ebay. But got thinking that a slightly larger display would be good. After checking out claims for many tablets on web decided to go for the beast I knew so went for HUDL 2. Brilliant! All the features I want and a more old person friendly size of display.Read full review

Still the best.
Despite being discontinued by Tesco the Hudl 2 for my money is still the best Android tablet on the market. New ones are stiil available from other sellers if you shop around but they command very high prices; far more than Tesco's original rrp which is a measure of just how popular they still are. If you shop around you can buy very clean used models from £45 to £80. I have paid as little as £45 and as much as £70 for a very clean one. The attraction? Well the screen size is excellent at 8.3"; a good compromise beteen the 7" and 10" tablets. 2gb of ram and a quad core processor along with 16gb storage expandable to 48gb with a 32gb micro sd card make for a very good performance. Build quality is excellent but the screens are thin which means a rigid case is a desirable accessory. Spare screens are readily available and it is an easy repair which means buying a damaged unit is a worthwhile choice depending on the price. Not such a good idea is the combined mini usb combined charging plug and OTG socket. This means you can only do one or the other but this is now a common set up on many tablets. All in all the HUDL 2 still represents very good value for excellent performance.Read full review

Quite amazing!
If you are see to a PC tower or laptop you will be amazed at the ease of using a tablet. Start up and it's all there! Just the apps to download and that is so simple even I could do it. First class screen quality, brilliant sounds and even an extra by way of a separate physical keyboard in its own Carry case. Had a small problem a few weeks ago when the Hudl 2 froze. Rang the free phone help desk and a very knowledgeable technician put it right in less than a minute.
The price was staggeringly good value.
Only problem? Tesco aren't bringing out a Hudl 3!Read full review

Great cheap fix
I fitted this to a friend's hudl2 that had a loose USB socket and wasn't charging properly.
This PCB is a direct replacement and fits and functions perfectly. It's a cheap easy fix.
There's videos on YouTube that show you how to fit it if you're not sure.Read full review

Hudl2 charging made easy
Good product would recommend it , nit sure on quality yet but works well to start with. Only reason I have given it 4 star is because the one I got had extra bit of PCB which I had to finish it with dremel. Rest all good.Read full review

Decent quality for budget tablet
If you can get one for around £30 - £40 go for it , hudl 2 superior to original Hudl don't bother with a tablet with less than 2gb ram that the Hudl 2 has it will not be fast enough

Still great after all these years!
The battery life is not a strong point but in all other respects the Hudl 2 excels even by 2018 standards. It also has the advantage of an easily removable battery that can be easily replaced quite cheaply when required.. Great value, good specifications and a good hd screen makes the Hudl 2 a superb tablet .Read full review

Terrific tablet.
Excellent screen. 2gb of RAM means it's fast, the camera is ok but not great in low light.
Performance is amazing at this price point. The battery life is good. The sound is adequate, a bit tinny but fine for the purpose, and the alarms are plenty loud enough.
It's a shame Tesco aren't still making these as they really are the perfect device.
I genuinely prefer it to my iPad Air 2.Read full review

Bringing my hudl 2 back from the dead
With a little help from You Tube this component was easy to fit. The hudl now works perfectly again and saved me the cost of buying a new hudl. My partners son was also delighted as he hot to keep all his games. The product arrived within a few days of ordering. It also gave the courage to do the same for my daughters 1st generation hudl which now also works perfectly.Read full review
