An excellent niche device blending old-school with newer tech.
I bought this because I love all the features of this stereo, and the features all check out perfectly. I love being able to play MP3 mix CD's in my living room now, and even though I'm not much of a cassette guy, it's nice to have the option. My favorite feature is being able to hook up my vinyl player and record from old records straight onto a thumb drive. Worked great! (though a helpful tip if you're an audiophile is to be prepared to edit the recorded files on a PC, mostly to split up the tracks, but also to adjust the audio levels to sound good, otherwise all your tracks will sound pretty quiet). My one small complaint would have to be that the display is a little too old-fashioned, displaying very little text in blocky, slow-scrolling letters. For playing MP3 discs or USB drives, it would be nice if there was a way to scroll through the folders like the CD player in my car can, instead of just having to hit the >>| button repeatedly. Granted, I'm sure the product would've cost a LOT more if it had a more 'modern' display, so I'm not complaining too much. Overall very satisfied!Read full review

Tape, disc, and mp3...the Trifecta of awesome!
This tape & CD player combo is what I've been looking for. It works with my hi-fi set-up and allows me to play burned CDs (including mp3 ones), as well as Type 1 cassettes. It doesn't burn CDs (one has to upgrade to the nicer model for that), but it more than tows its weight in my system. Highly recommended!Read full review
Good quality with good looks
This CD/Cassette combo unit was just what I was looking for to play my CD'S and old cassettes. This unit appears to be of very good quality, and also includes a USB port. The only quirk is: you must set your receiver on tape to get any sound out of the CD player. While little more than a nuisance, it is not stated anywhere in the manual. The unit is not big or heavy, and looks great in a stereo cabinet. I'm loving it so far.Read full review

Dissapointed on the USB not working
The cassette & CD works great but the flash drive USB does not work , tried different flash drives with music but still it does not work. Its best to try the product to see if everything works

So far so good.
It’s an easy way to do the job it was designed to do: to make mp3 files from CDs and cassettes.

Well built and works fine
I'm impressed with the very smooth mechanical function of the loading of the cassett and overall performance. Looks to be a solid construction, that is the reason I purchased two of them.
