VoiceSolo FX 150

The Helicon VoiceSolo FX 150 is a valuable tool to the working musician. I use it working solo in smaller settings as a stand alone PA for voice and guitar. I use it mostly in a duo in larger areas and allows adjustment on the fly without turning around to adjust the PA head. When jobbing out with another band, I am up and running in minutes and the control on the back allows me to send only vocal to main PA and I can send a signal from my guitar processor. I am well past 60 and starting to lose some hearing from 50 years of gigging. This unit is the best I have found for ease of setup and quality of sound. The reverb is pretty good too and fully adjustable on guitar and vocal channel. Fits right on my mic stand and is easy to use. Light weight is a plus too. I recommend you check this out.

A perfect monitor

The perfect monitor in a pint sized package. I set it up on a mic stand, dialed it in and was able to use it on my next gig. So many features, easy to understand, great sounding. As an acoustic player who often plays in a small space I can actually use this unit as a P.A. I like it!Read full review

The perfect personal monitor

I use this device as a personal monitor for acoustic guitar and vocals in our worship team at church. It has two channels, so I can run separate lines out to the sound board (with the Ch1-only switch set). We have floor monitors with a general mix, but having the ability to boost either channel allows me to hear myself better without having the sound guy tweak the monitor mix (and mess everyone else's mix up). Since it is mounted to my mic stand, the boosted volume stays fairly local to where I'm standing, so others still hear their instruments and the general monitor mix. Anything to keep the general stage volume down (like personal or headphone monitors) is always a good thing sound-wise. It also works well with the TC-Helicon Play series of voice/instrument processors, running the two channels of the processor into the two channels of this monitor and then into two channels of the soundboard. In that case, I leave most of the sound-shaping to the processor and run this monitor fairly flat.Read full review

TC Helicon makes GREAT stuff!

The FX150 is the swiss army knife of audio monitors. Lots of mounting/angle options, 3 channels, effects, 2 DI's - it's a very versatile piece. Solid, clear, full range sound with lots of options for integrating with other gear. Highly recommended! ( I have TWO!)Read full review

Wow, excellent little monitor and speaker.

I'm using this little gem as a practice speaker/amp and for small gigs. I play jazz clarinet over backing-tracks that I create in Band in the Box. Everything sounds crisp and clean and all with a nice EQ mix. This little thing can also kick out a decent volume too (even enough for a small intimate cafe or restaurant gig). I highly recommend this product. And don't forget to download the latest firmware updates from TC-Helicon. The latest update, as of this writing, includes a cool new low end bass enhancement! This is a great product by TC-Helicon.Read full review

Impressive

I just got it for Christmas, and I set it up with a mic and tried it out and took it through its functions. The sound, volume and effects are clean, no hiss, really great sound. I am happy to have done my homework choosing this one. I can't wait to use it with the band!Read full review

Small But Effective

I needed something small and lightweight, but versatile enough to use in a variety of different live situations. The mount holds the unit securely on the mic stand at a distance close enough that it provides plenty of power as a vocal monitor. With an effective EQ and Effects, it really is a great unit.Read full review

Tried for the first time

I'm using an acoustic guitar and vocal channels.....amazing sound, and loud. If you have a small gig to play, I think it will be perfect. I'll find out in May, but i love what I heard last night.
