Tag Heuer Formula 1 - Entry Level Rugged Luxury Watch

This watch's fit and finish is excellent, especially for the price point and being an entry level luxury watch from a brand that has real history. This is watch is quartz and the alignment of the hands to the indices is excellent, which is surprisingly difficult to achieve with quartz movements. The lume is excellent. The dial is brilliant and reflects light very well. The dial is nicely uncluttered, classy, and easy to read.

Being a quartz watch, it is excellent in time keeping. I have only gained 1 second in the 2 weeks I've owned the watch. I have three other Formula 1 quartz watches and they have proven themselves to be extremely rugged, sporty, reliable while being comfortable to wear and a pleasure to look at. The watch wears more like a 40mm case due to the short lugs, which makes the watch very pleasing to look at and comfortable on my 7 1/4" wrist.

While TAG Heuer seems to have lost their way a little bit in the earlier 2000's, they seem to be finding their way back again to their racing roots which is a welcome change. This watch definitely exudes the racing vibe (their heritage), even with the more dressy blue dial.
