No a miracle worker but useful

If you know what you are doing, useful to apply a clearcoat over a scratch. It had touched up a deep scratch with paint and then rubbed back to near flat with 2500 wet and dry. Then applied this and rubbed back so fairly smooth repair. Only noticeable now close up.Read full review

does what it says it does!

I had a long scratch on my bonnet of my car the magic pen did cover it but the pen is designed for larger marks i found there was a lot of excess which just looked like i'd painted it. It was more noticeable than the scratch, however it stated on the instructions that this can be removed with normal t cut which did the job.Read full review

Rubbish

Leaves a raised mark against paintwork might work on non metallic paint but wouldn’t trust it. Like putting a clear glue over scratch to create a reflection to make it looks like scratch has gone.

Works well on light scratches

It does exactly what it says. It covered the light scratches on my car and made them almost invisible. Very pleased with the outcome. Not tried it on deep scratches.

This is a fine nib pen that provides a clear laquer to cover up small scratches, by diverting the light. It creates a hard laquer finish over the scratch, but doesn't "repair" it. In most light conditions the scratch becomes invisible, but the laquer can be seen from certain angles. The full fix is after all a lot of work and will involve a paint respray of the scratched area, once properly prepared.Read full review
