My natural hair is very wavy. This shampoo really straightened my hair for the first 2 weeks. After that, it starts getting curly again, but the shampoo reduces the volume a lot. I applied it only once a month ago. My hair is back to natural now. Personally, that's what I wanted, a straightener that would reduce the volume to help me with the transition to natural hair (the bottom half of my hair has progressive straightening products, which I want to get rid of).
