excellent watch. does everything it says on the tin. fairly easy to use once you master the basics. after buying other watches of this type I can say catagoricly this fair exceeds them. if you get around the fact that military watches of this type are dark then you will begin to enjoy the suunto core. there is a trade off between contrast and battery life.Read full review

Nice sports watch, but needs a brighter display.
There is only one problem with this watch, and that's the display illumination. It's just about readable during the day, and pushing the back light button makes hardly any difference.

The Suunto core all black watch is a pure utility wrist instrument. Comfortable and light weight on the wrist. All functions perform well as prescribed. Great watch for outdoor activities, the Storm alarm is very good in that it is pretty accurate, 8/10 times it goes off it pees down shortly after. Its very comfortable to wear and looks ok aswel.
