Had bad smell coming from the septic tank flue when the wind blew from a certain direction. The smell was being drawn back into the building when the window was open. It was very easy to fit (30 seconds) with a little washing up liquid for lubricant. It’s not that cheap but probably cheaper than extending the flue. There is absolutely no smell. Ours has been installed for 18 months now. The septic tank pipe is right in the decking near to where we sit for drinks and food. The device is excellent - NO SMELLS / MUFFLES RUNNING WATER SOUND / HYGENIC. We have hidden the pipe beneath a wickerwork beehive so it can't be seen.Read full review
