Protects and serves!!!!

Born and raised in New York's immigrant Bronx, this individual avoids all the pitfalls of falling into a life of crime, as his Jewish home life is solid and filled with love and respect. Almost on a whim, he interviews for the NYPD and is hired. In his many years as a street cop and then a detective, we are treated to multiple real life encounters, that make this book hard to put down. To this reader, he is what we hope is the highest example of protecting and serving, with an emphasis on "protecting". This is as good or better than Chuck Zitos's "Street Justice" from the same area. I can't recommend highly enough!!Read full review
