Marks the steering wheel.

It’s big, yellow and very heavy. Certainly looks the part and should act as a deterrent to thieves. However, the weight causes a problem - it dents a soft steering wheel, the dents may, or may not, vanish when the lock is removed.
So I have resorted to wrapping the steering wheel in bubble wrap to protect it - silly really and very inconvenient. So I don’t recommend it.Read full review

Great deterant, big, bold, tells crooks don’t bother move on. They may have electronic devices enabling them to steal a Range Rover but no chance using this tough quality locking device which you can clearly see is fitted from a great distance. Good strong visible deterrent

With the spate of thefts due to electronic unlocking, I’ve gone back to the old fashioned big yellow steel bar across the steering wheel. Clearly visible, clearly an obstruction to the opportunistic! Has multiple grab bars so fitted correctly would mean a thief having to cut the steering wheel twice then buckle and bend bits out the way to remove ... A very solid bit of kit, very easy to fix to A steering wheel in various ways. In my case it can not only imobilise the steering wheel but also the gear lever if fitted in one particular way.

Good old fashioned crooklock does the job and easy to fit

A pity we have to revert the old ways of trying to protect our cars from theft. I think this is the most effective method and is certainly visible when fitted to hopefully to "put off" would be thieves (cretins). It is a fad to lock up each time but what an you do and is the alternative.Read full review

Great bit of kit for a reasonable price

I was torn between this and another well known brand. I opted for this in the end as it's light weight and not as bulky. Some might say that it's less protective over the other. But many professional reviews and police tests suggest It's within the top 3 steering locks.

Very easy to use.

My car is a Ford focus ST 3.5 2017.
The lock is a little on the loose side due to the nature of the curve on the elite model. Maybe should have gone for the pro? Although the movement does prevent it rubbing against the buttons on the wheel.

Stop lock

With the high amount of cars being stolen and ending up in a chop shop ..I wanted some sort of deterrent. I did some research on steering wheel locks that would slow down a car theif and protect my airbag.

Very Solid Deterrent

Has the two large hook clamps that go round the steering wheel rim as opposed to the smaller normal clam shell round the steering wheel rim version and is recommended for Range Rovers (consistently the most stolen vehicle in London) so I know it will keep my E39 M Sport safe.
