Great value radio, super loud speaker, good FM reception

Good radio overall, super loud speaker. Have used it for the WX channels and the FM radio feature so far. FM radio reception is excellent, can pick up stations 50+ miles in any direction. Not much use yet for the VHF portion, as the product arrived after our lake erie trip.Read full review

One of the best radios for the price

After watching many video's and talking to other kayakers, This unit is one of the best UHF Marine Radio's on the markets. Very easy to set up, fast charging and holds a charge for a good long time. Channel set-up , wheather monitoring and FM radio music options. The ability to save and listen to your favorite FM radio stations was a great feature to have as a Kayaker.

Excellent choice for kayakers or small boats!

I bought this for use on my kayak, as I am going to be fishing open water on the Chesapeake Bay. I havent had the chance to use it on the water yet, but in going over the manual and testing the unit, I can honestly say that I am confident this is a solid unit and excellent value. It is slightly larger than I imagined after looking at the dimensions, especially with the antenna attached, so I will have to give consideration to where and how to stow it while on the water. But overall, I am pleased so far and would encourage anyone looking for a marine radio for use on a kayak or small boat to look closely at this unit. Read full review
