Better then expected , had no issues installing shelving or divider , all bolt holes lined up , cabinet was well packaged and looks great . Keep in mind that this is not a safe per say but a gun cabinet . Does the job for what I need it for and is of good quality for price point . When it is anchored to wall and floor it is very stable and secure . Added remote led puck lights inside cabinet to make it easier to see contents inside especially at night and if not in a well lit room . Would definitely recommend product . Read full review

Sentinel “18 gun” CABINET
This gun cabinet is definitely not designed to hold nearly as many guns as advertised. Granted keep in mind... I am using it as both shelving and gun cabinet. Storing as just a gun cabinet will yield more gun storage but the keepers are unrealistically spaces closely together. If you plan to use more than two of the supplied rifle rails/ barrel keepers at a time be prepared to have to drill holes to use them. The holes don’t line up. Invest in some stick inside lighting because this cabinet is very dark. I’ve also looked into getting some 3M light Gray material liner to lighten the color and make it less noises and scratch resistant inside. I’d also suggest putting some weather stripping between the doorway too to prevent rattle. Otherwise it’s a decent cabinet. I’d still recommend this cabinet to keep firearms organized and away from children.Read full review

I think it's a great value for the money. Not fireproof, waterproof, or determined thief proof, but it keeps honest folks honest, and children safe.
I think 18 long guns may be too generous. I used the barrel spacers and the top shelf, the rest was empty space. I was able to fit 18 long guns by piling them in, and to get the one I'm wanting out, I'll have to pull 2 or 3 out to get to it. Used the shelf for my handguns.Read full review

I both like and hate it, if that's possible...
It came bent In the back, which is not that big of a issue. It's just a metal box, what you expect from storage and not safe. The big issue i have with it is, it's very difficult to assemble all the shelves by yourself, the holes didnt match up very well. So Its not put together perfectly. I wish it came all assembled. But hey it was under $200 and It fits most of my guns, ammo and extra storage for my gear. It is what it is though. It's what I needed until I can afford to get a real solid safe. It locks well. Great cabinet for the price
I really find it hard to beat this gun cabinet at this price range. Without shelves installed it can hold up to 18 like it says, but 9 with shelves. This is great if you don’t own too many firearms. The metal is sturdy enough too. Doesn’t flex when pushing on the middle of a wall. Mine arrived with a couple of very small dents. I’m happy with it!Read full review

This cabinet came dented in multiple places. Don't mistake it for a safe, it is not. It is a lockable cabinet with 3 points of closure and a piano hinge. It will keep my children and grandchildren from opening it without my knowing, but that is about it. It is quite large and has good room for locking away rifles and important papers etc. Screwing it into wall and floor studs will give it some rigidity. The key works well. My daughter couldn't open it with her burglar tools. I had her check for me when it first came. If she had been able to defeat the key I would have returned the box. Read full review

Great product, this is my second one.
This is a great cabinet at a great price compared to the thicker gun safes that have combination locks or push button keypads. Compared to my other Stack-On cabinet of the same size, this one came with the outer shell and door already assembled. You aren't going to get 18 rifles in here unless they are all completely stripped. If you have one AR-15 with a quad rail and equipment mounted on the side, you can go ahead and subtract one or two spaces. In the cabinet that I installed the shelves in, I keep 4 - 5 rifles. In the new one (this one) without the shelves, I have 6 fully equipped rifles with room for more. An AR-15 with a 16 inch barrel and the stock fully extended is too short for the height of the rifle rests as the holes are drilled, so you may have to drill new holes, or buy some magnetic rifle rests to stick where you want them. I also purchased a couple of magnetic mounted, motion sensing, rechargeable lights to stick in the top.The only issue I had was that one of the holes to attach the rifle rests was drilled wrong and didn't even come close to matching. It was just one hole though and I drilled a hole where it was needed. It came with the lag bolts to secure it to the floor and wall and the holes were already drilled at standard spacing for floor joists and wall studs. It looks great, it's very sturdy, and has a good quality locking system. Read full review
