Great knife
For the price, this is a great knife. Came out of the box very sharp (something of a rarity for knives in this price range). It is lightweight, easily carried in my shirt pocket. The clip is very strong and can be moved to accommodate different styles of carry. It is a little hard to open with one hand at first, but gets easier with use. The blade locks securely with a snap, and there is no play. The handle, while lightweight, still feels pretty durable and fits nicely in the hand. For the money, it can’t be beat. Read full review

Action is stiff
Action is stiff. Difficult to open one handed. Decent blade and construction but prefer the Honey Badger Hawkbill for quality and action.

Great little EDC defense knife
I carry this knife for self-defense in dangerous areas. It's a nice little knife, that is small, but packs a punch. Designed by Spyderco, the serrated hawkbill blade is razor sharp. I've tested it on various materials, and it would shred humans skin to the point of requiring stiches with a single slash. The shape of the blade makes it easy to use, even for novices.
Best of all, the price. The Spyderco Civilian and Matriarch are better combat knives, but cost 3-5 times as much as this. This might not be as great as those, but this knife can definitely save your life in the right situation. Never leave home without it!Read full review

Great spyderco for the price!
This is an incredible knife. It is very sharpe!!. Lightweight and of quality construction. The handle has no material left on it from the mold. It is clean. The clip can be moved to a total of 4 positions on the knife. There is no play in the blade when it is in the lock position. It opens and closes smoothly. Overall this is a great knife.Read full review

"Great inexpensive alternative"
These knives are a great buy and a good alternative to the more expensive Spyderco for everyday use. I carry a knife everyday, for regular use, I'd say this is a great value and functions for the most part like the more expensive models for average use. The blade isn't as solid but is certainly as sharp; you can't beat a good quality Spyderco but losing one is a big disappointment; I've lost a couple of the more expensive Spyderco knives. The FRN handle makes for a comfortable, solid grip and a more lightweight carry. I have purchased one of these for each of my family members, it makes a great inexpensive and useful gift.Read full review

Hawkbill...
Even though it's made in China, the blade is sharp and holds up pretty well. Tight and solid handle. Awesome knife for the price.

Great knife for the price!
Simply put, this is an incredible knife for the price that I paid. This is my second one purchased. I use one of these as my everyday carry at work. It does everything that I expect out of it then cleans up easily at the end of the day without a scratch on it. Very durable. I've put 6 months of daily work on my first one purchased. This second knife was bought as a gift.Read full review

NICE Byrd Hawkbill
This is really a nice knife, very well made & sturdy, good size (4" closed) and will probably become my EDC. If you're thinking about buying one of these don't hesitate -- they are well worth the money (around $20.00).Read full review
