This receiver has the most options in of the available Spektrum 6 channel receiver. If you do not need voice alerts I would purchase the Spektrum DX6e which has all the features of the DX6 except it has tone alerts instead of vaice alerts. Hope you know all the functions of a transmitter, because...

Don't expect to get a comprehensive manual. The one enclosed basically just covers where you can find some, yes, just SOME of the functions of the transmitter. But if you want to know any of the nuts and bolts, like exactly how to set the expo, and what it does for you, you'd better be good at googling. I bought a dx7 g2 and a dx6 g2 have used them a few times. The programming is easy and very straight forward. What I also found out that Orange RX receivers are available from Hobby King in DSMX and tried several of them they are very cheap and so far also pretty reliable. Great 6 channel radio for the price

Has about everything in it to set all the parameters for any model airplane,sailplane,helicopter or multirotor (Quad) I particularly like the SD card slot which allows you to download and upload transmitter settings for any of the Bind and Fly models.Saves a lot of time not having to program your models parameter settings into your radio.Another good feature is the voice notifications and I like the way that you can set up your timer to start and stop with the throttle.All in all it's a great buy.Read full review

Spektrum DX6 used

The transmitter is a good one, although used, it dunting well. The only issue i had with it was a loose toggle switch

6 Channel marvel
