Refurbished product didn't work

This device, supposedly refurbished by Sony, failed before I was able to use it. Using Windows Media Player, the synchs would fail before completion, at different points with the same sequence of songs. So it was returned. I got my money back very quickly. When I did have a chance to use it, it had a lovely sound and nice clear user interface, so I bought a brand new 8gb version instead.Read full review

Being a member of the older generation this is a great player, I can read the screen without glasses, the layout is logical and easy to access and the sound, for me is great. Switching from music menu (with a lot of access options - album,folder,artist etc) to last track played to FM radio is simple and I don't have to use Itunes which is definitely a bonus. Battery life is good and the only drawback I could find, it has to be attached to a computer to charge but I can live with that. Five stars for me!Read full review

Cant switch it off...it goes to standby mode...really misleading because you actually dont switch it off, you press power off and it goes to stand by mode. i wanted to have player which would have long battery life....but i got player which uses battery when its in standby mode...Read full review
