Good turntable, excellent sound slight issue with the automatic features
I am an audiophile, but not a vinyl snob, I have an extensive collection but prefer rock, indie stuff, jazz on LP's, whereas with electronica, dance, classical, I prefer it to be digital for fidelity.. This deck sounds good, however the automatic feature kind of sucks it drops the needle about 1/8 of an inch from the actual record (useless) unless you want to hear a bunch of noise and or ruin your needle. So it must be done by hand, the return/stop feature works fine.. I'm sure it's just an adjustment issue, but I genuinely don't care about such a small issue.Read full review

Almost Refurbished.
This turntable arrived well wrapped but without a USB cord or software cd. Also, the shipper failed to clip the table to the center peg and when it got flipped over in shipping the table slipped off the peg and disconnected the drive belt. Luckily I was able to hook the belt back in place with little difficulty.
After finding a USB cable and then getting recording software on line the "refurbished" unit worked well.
So, unless you are a little handy around these types of problems, I'd look elsewhere.
I gave it the okay rating because once I got it working it was fine.Read full review

SONY PS-LX300USB TURNTABLE
Very easy to use, Belt replacement easy. SOUND is excellent for an under $100 Turntable. Cartridge replacement easy and at a low cost for a Moving Magnet Cartridge.
You could pay $50 more, but you would be wasting your money, The Sony PS-LX300USB Turntable is a great medium level performer, and sounds like a higher end turntable.
Does not play 78-speed records. Read full review

A good enough turntable
The RCA cords are hard wired and too short. The USB used to record LPs works fine on Windows 7, but I couldn't get it to work on Windows 10. It loaded the driver when it was plugged but still could not record with the same software on Windows 10. Otherwise, the turntable is fine. If just playing an LP on a receiver that has a dedicated phono input, it's excellent. Read full review

Vinyl to Cds and Back to Vinly!
Unit is in excellent condition. Having the preamp on it helps a lot. It has a program for uploading vinyl to cds and/or my hard drive on my laptop.. Connecting it to my Sony unit just quantifies the incredible sound of the big bands. I have five Kenwood air suspension speakers one of which is the center. And to top it off it has an incredible sub woofer. Don't use it much on slow dancing though. This is the first time in many years that I have been able to have a sound system and believe me it was worth the wait. The only question I do have is do the tone arms come down fast with Sony turntables? Seems like it is pushing the needle up toward the cartridge and I didn't know if there was any adjustment settings for slowing the downtouch. Any way with that minor problem out of the way, I intend to listen to good music that sounds good for a very long time.

Great Turntable for USB Conversion
Very easy to use, since it's automatic, as simple as pressing up and start! This coming from someone who had never used one before. Soundforge works well, but the automatic vinyl conversion feature doesn't let you adjust where the tracks actually are, so it could butcher tracks on you. Overall though, very impressive!Read full review

Looking forward to using it!
Unfortunately, I have not hooked up the turntable yet. I rated it 5 Stars because it met all of my expectations.
The process went well and it was delivered at the expected time!
I'm in the process of getting around to hooking it up, it's like a domino effect since we are rearranging the stereo cabinets and finding places to put the "old" pieces of technology (even though it all works just fine!Read full review
