good sound quality cheaper than 18 years ago

these new head phones have better sound quality than the 18 year old sony dj head phones i spent £90 on, they must of deteriorated over time.

The headphones is good for my daughter to watch video in youtube. But for music is not good enough, the volume is on max on my laptop and I still can hear the tv sound. I can recomended only for kids.
