Impressed with the general quality

These headphones are amazing. Deep bass, crisp trebles.
They can be a little fiddly to put on, but once the position has been found, they stay well put inside the ear canal and don't move at all regardless the activity.
I use them everywhere.

Ok

I usually use the cabled earphones that also attach over head and go in ear and when running they always stay where there meant to,but decided to opt for wireless to get rid of the damn long cable that just swung everywhere, so went for these, easy to set up to connect to phone via Bluetooth and good sound quality.
When looking at the earphone I thought that the hooky section went over the ear but it doest it just rests inside the top of the ear so it doesn't stop them coming out when running which they have on occasion,but just as easy to pop back in.
Excellent for walking or slow jog as they stay where their meant to but harder continuous running expect them to fall out.
It's a shame they don't have a head band that could clip on the prevent this.Read full review

I paid £25 for these, I wouldn't pay the full £70 for them.

Sound, decent, comfortable, they actually isolate sound very well, can't really hear any ambient sound which is what I wanted.
The full price tag is a bit of an ask for these, if you're a snob like me.
Bass isn't as high or crisp as you would want, treble a little high, but the clarity is good, can hear all instruments in a track clear, no muddying and perfect for the gym.
For the average user they are great, for the sound snob, they are OK, nothing more.
For me not a direct replacement for my headphones, but they are perfect for the gym.Read full review

Only works with Sony products Bluetooth enabled.

By coincidence alone I use an old Sony Z phone. This is the only product the earphones will connect too. I have tried everything. The problem is the communication protocol Sony uses for the Mic component. This locks it out for everything else other than Sony products. Tablet - NO, iPad - NO, iPhone - NO, Google Nexus - NO. My Bluetooth enabled ASPIRE 8935 laptop - NO, my AUDIBLE Kindle wispier - NO

In fact if I had know this failing I would not have purchased the product. Its no use unless your pairing it with a Sony device. Pop to the Sony web site and you will see a list of devices its compatible with. Not may and all Sony.Read full review

Why buy new?

I've no problem buying manufacturer's refurbed products, after all, you get them at way less than half price, all the bits and bobs you get in a new box and full warranty. Only thing missing is the excess packaging on a new product.
Same here, great headphones without a mark, well packed in bubble wrap, all the tips and clips, power cable and a slip of paper pointing you to the online manual.
Great headphones by the way, loud as you could want, 40 feet+ connectivity in the garden and instant connection via NFC.
