Comfortable and Nice-Sounding Headphones

Good all-around headphones. I like them for listening to music and video editing. Being regularly corded, the headphones do not suffer from latency issues like a lot of similarly priced USB headphones. Despite being large in size, they are more comfortable than a lot of small headphones I have worn. They have a balanced and aligned pressure distribution that your head and ears will thank you for compared to a lot of other headphones that do not conform to the geometry of your head and often fail to sit tightly on it. My one wish would be for them to have active noise canceling worked in as well, but it was not a make or break for my use case. Ohhh Yeaaaa it's these headphones not the kool-aid man

These headphones are just awesome. Coming from an audiophile and a dj. Comfortable and great for entry level sound enthusiasts all the way up to professionals. Best Headphones!

These are some of the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. They're super comfortable as well, which is big for me cuz I have a weird headshape. The ability to remove the connecting 1/8 inch cable is a godsend as well. My last pair of headphones died cuz the cable clearly got frayed inside the lining (50 year old headphones, bound to happen at some point) and I couldn't get it fixed during the pandemic. Great sound and dependable as hell

Been using a pair for around 10 years and got another for work. Complaints regarding "not enough bass" really are misguided. These are studio monitors, so they're intentionally "flat" in their they're intended to replicate what the sound should be as accurately as possible. If you desire more bass, open up that equalizer and crank it there; that's how it should be! Only downside is the faux leather earcups. You'll need to replace these in a couple years, try velour.Read full review

Hmm, 4 stars only

I bought both this Sony "tried and true" headphone and the ATHM40x. The AT model has larger ear cups, so better fit for me and seemingly better bass resposne. Sony is clean, with more pronounced mids and highs, but very neutral on bass. This Sony MDR-7506 is more compact and travel sized, but I prefer the AudioTechnica model better IMHO. I expected more, I guess. I also compared it against the Beyer D770 Pro (which I kow are $70 more, so not a fair comparison) and they were much more accurate. A little bright in the high end

Product is brand new.They are very comfortable my only negative would be the sound quality is extremely bright on the high end however they are still a good headphone but they must be equalized.

Sony MDR-7506 Review

Thank you very much for the new Sony MDR-7506 stereo over the ear headphones. They sound great. They are similar in style to my previous pair of Sony MDR over the ear headphones, and has roughly the same decibel range. I like that a parts list was given to replace any parts that need replacing over time. Thank you much.

Go-to set of office headphones

Sound great, not so original parts

These sound amazing, and work really well! Used them for a few years so far, until our audio partners bought their own from the states and I found out that mine are not quite original. The problems?r>1: Left and right are inverted
2. The cable is a bit too tough. The original ones have a really lighter cable.
