Excellent range of features. No problem connecting to computer.

Superb picture quality and all the manual controls you could wish for. My fastest computer (Windows7) did not have a firewire socket but I bought a firewire card for £5 on ebay, plugged it into the motherboard and was then able to import my HDV videos to the computer with no problems, using the Windows Movie Maker software which is free with Windows7. I can also transfer edited video back to a tape in the camera and can record an AV signal from the freeview box onto a tape in the camera.Read full review

Lense not operating!

Although I have been able to recharge the battery after being compelled to buy a new separate charger, there is no image appearing on the LCD screen, which DOES illuminate with charge details, nor through the viewfinder. This is despite the front lense gate being unlocked. So I am very disappointed ,as a repair will cost well over £100! Read full review

nice piece of kit

Although a little on the heavy side for holding for any length of time I find it good for picture quality, and the sound surprised me really clear, overall a good purchase.

A fantastic piece of kit, really happy.

A really good Camera. I'm pretty impressed with it. A solid build, yes the tech is a little outdated due to the medium used and taking the footage from the camera is long yet it feels great to do so. I feel like keeping more footage on the tapes rather than deleting things as quickly as can be done on an SD.

It was a steal

I have newer camera's who's pictures are nowhere near as good as this one. Everything works as it should. Arrived very quickly all in all I couldn't be happier with it. It was a steal.
