It turns itself off every 15 min - Annoying

This is a very nice Home theater but it has the Auto turn off feature that you can't modify. By design, this soundbar will turn-off every 15 min if no signal is received. It happens at low volume so you have to change volume every 14 min. I don't understand that specific characteristic in a device that is made, originally, for watching movies that last more than 15 minutes.
It is frustrating that you can't do anything to fix it. I checked the Sony portal, they explain exactly what i'm saying here and they say there is no solution for this since this is not considered a malfunction. Kudos to Sony engineers, what a "nice" feature!!Read full review...

Lights come on but NO Sound unless you cross the wires and get a hum.

I bought this thinking I could enhance my Sony Brivida TV but I can't get it to make a sound . Bought it at a discount and like they say "That's why it so cheap on eBay" Win some loose some. Totally disenchanted by this product. Once I read the online Sony manual it looks like it will only play with "Digital DVD's" as it doesn't work with the other hook-ups. I'm still trying to get some sound out other than the low hum of crossed wires. I've tried the other inputs and wire options ( Wires Not included ) I should have goes with a surround sound system instead.Read full review...

Expected More

I wanted to down size my electronics and thought this would be a great solution to my current Sony theater system. I was disappointed by the less then stellar sound quality. Perhaps my expectations were that it would sound at least as good as my 7 year old Sony hts.Read full review...
