Sony DSC-WX9 16.2Mp camera

This camera takes excellent pictures for me. I am not commenting on the Optics or anything else. Because I am not an expert on this subject. However in a side-by-side comparison to a similar Nikon camera the Sony takes better indoor pictures. According to Sony, their cameras like this one with exmor CMOS sensor take better low light level pictures.

This Camera makes not so great photos. Get an old sensor but this is normal for this model.
The Video quality is absolutely great. Films with 60 fps.

This is a good camera

I like this camera it takes good pictures & videos. I like the fact that unlike allot of cyber shot cameras you can zoom in on video mode. Also it takes 3D pictures but I have had a chance to view them in 3D. On the down side it doesn't shoot in the various modes like Black & White Sepia etc. Also I don't know if it's a defect of this model or the previous owner broke something in it because the camera keeps draining the battery even when I haven't used it. So now I just pop the battery in when I get ready to use it.Read full review

Great little camera

I learned that I had already purchased a new one for my wife a few years ago. Age includes forgetfulness. I'm on a trip with this new camera now. It would be a better deal if it included the battery charger. Fortunately, I can use my wife's. No problems so far. Great little camera.Read full review
