Find one that has been used little. and buy it. They have one inherent problem the lens mechanism tend to wear out under heavy use for long periods of time, that is the first thing to go normally. The one I have now was used little and nearly new condition, They are simple to use and pretty user adjustable if you please or use the auto setting and take good pictures. Take it and the book and just go out or in and play with it / learn to use it. You should have it down pretty well in a hour.Read full review

Great little camera but Missing features

It is a great little camera - compact and easy to carry it along with you.Has no bluetooth so you would need a wire to transfer images, but it did not come with a wire and the wire is no longer available, and so the only way to transfer is to get a chip reader and feed the images thru the chip reader to the PCRead full review

These are an old style camera still comparable with any computer to download. Takes good photos, of age related technology. I use it out of doors and trips. Takes a sims card and batteries do last quite a while. When it stops to function due to my neglect, or age, just discard and buy another for under $20 and use the accessories on the new one purchased. I have used this camera for more than 20 years. I love the fact that it has a view finder and a screen. Sometimes the sun in so bright you can't see the screen so the view finder comes in handy.
