It aint fancy but works.

This block and tackle is alright for what I need it for. The rope is hard on your hands when pulling on it .It also twists and you have to keep untwisting it. I wish it had cotton rope in it. If I were to use it a lot I would replace the rope with cotton. Like many of the other reviews the nuts had come off before I used it. I had lock washers so I put them on to keep nuts on the bolts. Get a Lift

Great little package deal. Everything you need in a light hoist apparatus. Great value for the price.

pully block review

7 to 1 mechanical advantage, about 8 feet of pull distance. Keep blocks pulled together when not in use least the rope get out of alinement. Good price. Harbor Freight had none. I pulled out a small tree stumpRead full review

Good deal...

Several buyers reported loose nuts/bolts...the ones on mine had thread locker and were all tight. There was more than enough rope to pull a canoe up to 10' rafters. This was really overkill for a 80# canoe. The rope is kind of twisty but for the price it was good quality and did the job. With a 4-pully system one has to pay attention to what one is doing or the lines can become twisted. Would gladly buy another...Read full review

light not tight

for the price it is ok Could definitely have been better constructed Broke both of the spring hook ends within the first hour of use I then had to tighten up everything as nuts started to fall off the bolts It did however work as advertised.Read full review

Works great

I can't see this thing holding up to 2000 lbs but we used it for lifting walls up into a tree house and it worked perfect, if you use all the pulleys you may need a longer rope, the rope is 65' long so with 4 pulleys in use there is only 10' of lift, we just used less pulleys but you could also just get a longer rope.Read full review

It seems very strong.

I bought this hoist to lift a full banana bunch from the ground to hang on a wooden beam in my shed to ripen, such a bunch can weight easily 50kgs or 110 pounds. I was skeptical about the claim that it could lift 2 tons though. I was surprised when I got it because it feels heavy and thick. I am not sure it could lift a 2 ton car (could the synthetic rope handle so much weight?) but certainly it could take on much more than 50 kgs. I think it's a good value. Read full review
