The versatility of the toggle/roll switch allows for three intensity levels at 20/50/80% along with the roll switch to go 0/20. 21/50..and 50to 100% and after updating the Codex through the App and going through the set up and personalized sound profile...They are top level headphones designed for Mega Bass Heads such as myself.
