very good die cutting machine

I have had other due cutting machines but this is the best. It cuts most dies with just one pass. When using with embossing folders it is spectacular. It takes no effort to turn the handle and it does not rock about. I would recomend this machine. It is so good that it is dificult to say how much it is better than other machines that are more expensive. I love it. It has a platform that is adjustable and has the instructions on it for which combinations to use for thin dies and thick dies or embossing folders. It is easy to get to grips with and after the first few cuts it becomes second nature. It is light enough to move about but not to light thst it is not firm in use. sizzix big shot - excellent machine for die cutting

This die cutter is easy to use, the instructions are on the different layers for use with different thickness media and dies. The handle for winding the platform through is sturdy and big enough that you can get thick media through with relatively little effort. I bought this machine 2nd hand and it has been well used but it is still in excellent working order and looks like it has stood up to heavy use very well. I would recommend this product as it has a large platform so you can use a wide size range of dies and it looks as thought it will last for years.Read full review

Perfect introduction to die cutting and embossing in one neat little package

I wanted to learn die cutting and embossing but didn't want a huge machine as I'm not interested in large scale production. When I saw this small machine I knew it was for me especially as it came as a starter set with dies, stamps, and embossing folders - it's a superb introduction to die cutting. I've had this little gem for two days now and I can't stay away from it - it is so much fun to use and the cuts are amazing. Everything I needed (except paper and card) to get started die cutting and embossing; unboxing to cutting my first piece took a whole seven minutes and that included reading the instruction sheet twice. I did watch several videos at the Sizzix site (very helpful) to boost my confidence whilst awaiting delivery. I'll be cutting 'the good stuff' paper and card soon but am using 'upcycled' packing and kraft paper just now to really learn about the machine. I am so pleased I bought this!Read full review

Grey big shot excellent with recommended to crafters

I used to have black n pink big shot but after 12 yrs of using it started feeling heavier and take two runs to get excellent cuts .so updated to grey big shot which lighter in weight cuts first time and smaller in height . Would highly recommend grey bid shot die cutting n embossing machine to any new crafter .always been a favorite to sizzix big shot machine and they never let me down . This is a fantastic little piece of kit it really does what it says on the tin. I have used it so much since I got it and I LOVE it. I wish I had bought one ages ago I love, love, love it.
