Brilliant device

This is a great gadget that allows you to produce very professional dovetail joints to be rightly proud of. It does take a good couple of hours to set up and the instructions are pretty poor, they seem to assume that whoever buys it already knows how to use it. In my case this was not true and I got onto YouTube for help.

problems

whilst I set this jig up for 5/8 timber it was fairly easy .My gripes are that the jig will not hold timber less than 175 long ,(on the top surface) even that is a bit short really, the clamp wont hold it . As for doing anything with thinner timber say below 1/2 inch I for the life of me cant make it work .Sorry to have to say this but I am disappointed .MelRead full review

The template is 1/2 inch and it does not fit mm sizes.

The metal frame it not good pressed, The angles ot vertical parts of the frame are not 90 degrees cause of bad press. The method of holding the planks it does not work because the surface is not flat. Buy something else and dont spend your money for thisRead full review

Good value, but could do with knobs re-sited.
