Inexpensive solution

My 40 year old Glow Worm Master Mind heating programmer finally gave up the ghost after sterling service to my central heating and hot water system which is the same age!! Didn't want to scrap my boiler when it was still working so well. After doing some research I discovered that this Siemens Programmer was almost identical to the one I was replacing...and so it proved. I didn't even have to take the back plate off the wall, simply unscrewed the broken programmer and lifted it off. Analogue Boiler programmer for heating and water

Looks ok for made in china, replacing an original at least 25 years old made in UK . It has all the identical functions but nothing extra, and required the backplate changing as they had slightly altered the shape over the years. If it lasts 25 years like the last one I will be extatic, but probably with the angels by then!!Read full review

Replaced my existing programmer after 10 years. The replacement fits in perfectly; no alteration to wiring at all; just remove the old one and fit one.

Quality timer

Very easy to fit as I was replacing the same model timer so I didn't need to do any wiring, the backplate was the same so didn't need changing either. Just a couple of screws and change the timer which just clips back onto the plate.
Timer is very easy to use as it is so straightforward and manual rather than digital.

Form, fit, function replacement for previous Landis Gyr programmer which must have been a good 30 years old. Easy to swap out.
