Very pleased
Delivered promptly this is the first time I've used this sort of pedal I had them fitted at my local bike shop as the bike is still under warranty cleats were easy to fit to cycling shoes and easy enough to adjust pedals to get cleats to lock properly one word of warning I was told and it's only fair I pass it on you will fall off until you get the knack of unlocking foot from pedal practise in a clear space or track. The upside is the flat side of pedal which gives you the option of cycling in ordinary shoes, trainers if your out with the kids or nipping to the shops etc well made product would recommend them easy enough to diy fit with a 3mm Allen key and a 15 mm spanner would recommend them Read full review

Not the best
Dual Sided is a bit of a misnomer as you only click into one side.
Pedals are a bit dated now only got them to replace an axle.
Bit of a pain to click in as they balance almost upside down and you have to givr them a nudge as you go to clickin ,in order to get them into the correct position.
Ok for a short ride but that's it.Read full review

Really nice clipless pedals
These are well made pedals, and really easy to use. On their easiest setting they grip well but disconnect easily. Easy to clip into without looking. I honestly can't fault them. So now I have them on both my bikes! Top marks to Halfords for first class service too! Ordered on Sunday, delivered the next day!Read full review

Excellent pedals
Really nice stable ride, easy to use on either side. Great as I can use them with trainers for a quick spin to the shops, or with my proper cycling shoes. Good price too.
Great looking, all purpose pedals
My second set of these, having previously tried wellgo's one-sided option, which have not held up so well. These Shimano pedals look good and, importantly, perform well. Both the SPD and flat side are excellent. Could be very slightly cheaper, but I have not had any issues from either of my sets of these pedals so far, so I guess their worth the slight extra cost.Read full review

Great flexibility
This is a good pedal for beginners and people who also wish to use their bike on a trip to the baker on a Saturday morning.

Good All Round Pedals
A great mixed platform pedal with an SPD cleat one side and a flat pedal on the other. Easy to use and a great way of learning how to clip yourself in and use clipless pedals.

Shimano SPD Pedals.
I have been endlessly impressed with these clipless pedals. I set them on the lowest "Novice" setting and have never forced my way out of them accidentally, so have left them loose, not needing them to be tighter. Keep them lubricated to ensure a good clipping action and they will serve you faultlessly. Turn them over and you can pedal down the shops in a pair of regular trainers - perfect!
I have recommended these pedals to two other regular cyclists.Read full review

nice combination of hop on / hop off and clipless
Whilst these are not the lightest SPD pedals, they are perfect for a bike that may be easily lent to other people or used for a casual local hop with normal shoes, whilst being able to use normally with proper bike shoes (I use Shimano R088)Read full review

better than new shimano equiverlent
in my opinion better than the new shimano equivalent,, better shaped for road bike if you require combination pedal, more importantly sits in correct position for easy clip in, which is essential on slopesRead full review
Pretty good all-rounder
Nice and solid, reasonable bearings with a platform slightly smaller than the usual flat pedals. Little slippy especially in the wet (depending on shoes). Haven't yet tried the cleats, but plan to buy compatible SPD shoes.Read full review
