Quickly becoming one of my favourite reels. It seems to be able to handle anything. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but with the improving weather I've been out fishing every chance I get and I must have landed 80 fish with it, ranging from tiny Gudgeon to 10lb carp. Excellent reel

It is light in weight making it ideal for the fishing of spinning lures, drop shot jigging for Perch, where you will be more mobile and kit weight can be a factor, also suitable for fishing fly and bubble float on a spinning setup.
The action is very smooth and quiet, as line is taken off and the drag works the audible sound gives a nice tone from the quality build of the internals.
Although the weight of the reel is light, there is nothing lightweight about the reel build or quality, which is excellent and at a very good price.
The handle is shaped well, and comfortable in use.
The bail arm, opens and closes manually in an exact and positive manner.
The rear drag has jimping around the knob making it ideal for both wet hands, or when excited with that tight line.
The spool is easily removed by its centre front push button.
On the inner flap of the box is a full exploded diagram with part number and listings, that will help with any maintenance and servicing longer term to keep it in top condition.Read full review
