Unusual Product
It is unusual to get a fully synthetic oil that has a lower viscosity figure of 10. The lower figure is normally 5 which I consider too thin for my requirements. The viscosity of this oil is only normally found in semi synthetic oils. Add to that, the fact this oil is used by many in wet clutch applications with no problems and it is recommended by some manufacturers- all this adds up to a desirable product.Read full review

Motorcycle oils.
Us bikers spend big money on our bikes. Treat it to some top quality oil and the engine and gearbox will last a long time. Been using this product for some time; my bikes seem to like it. Worth shopping around for the best price as it does vary from place to place. I tend not to use dealerships anymore because of the high prices. Being fully synthetic - "Does it cause clutch slip?" In a word, no! If you want to go drag racing you will require something else. For road use this oil is fantastic. Nice and thin for starting and good engine cooling. I tend to change this oil every 4000 miles which is probably unnecessary but you engine/gearbox will 'thank you' for it. Great product and a great price. Latest spec as well. Don’t Shell out on more expensive oils...
I have always been a buyer of Motul but it’s getting expensive.
So I had a look around T other manufacturers and I thought Shell don’t make rubbish petrol (Shell V Power).
The Fazer 1000 needed an oil change so I purchased this.
The spec is good, technology is up there with other manufacturers.
Ride wise the gearbox and changes feel a lot smoother to be honest than it did with the Motul.
So much so I have filled my VFR800 with the same oil now.Read full review

Best oil for bikes.
If you know about clasifications. You will know that this is the best base for oils. It means that shell makes oils its own. And mixes with additives sonit cimes cheaper and better quality. Like motul.. they dont make oils... only mixing.. check api and all other indications. Youll see that its made from way lover grade base than shell.Read full review

FULLY SYNTHETIC is the way to go!
OK, so I don't screw the nuts off my bike all the time but hey! why those little red horns come out its nice to know that my engine is being protected with a FULLY synthetic oil as apposed to a 'Semi'
Note* look for the 'ULTRA' label to be sure you are using the best option.
Its also nice to know that I'm not paying over the top for the best protection as this Shell Ultra 4T is the best value in its class.

The only oil I would put in my Ducati
This is a high spec fully synthetic oil, and the only one I would put in my Ducati. Good for both wet and dry clutches, I have been using it for a couple of years and always been satisfied with it. Shop around for the best deal, but don't buy cheaper alternatives.Read full review
