So, so pleased with this vacuum - it does a great job.

I'm really pleased - it's so much easier to use a cord free vacuum and this one is really powerful(2 power levels). I've had cordless before but really needed one that would get rid of all the pet hair embedded in my carpets. This has done the trick. I've used the handset on stair carpet and it made the job easy. Chuffed to bits with the price and the guarantee. It's a little heavier than I would have liked but I'll happily manage that for the performance I'm getting.Read full review

Good but could be so much better

Pros:

It is easy to use and does what it should do very well, clean floors and reach ceilings etc to remove the cobwebs. Run time OK not using boost, but very quick to discharge when on boost.
Ability to go under furniture is very good. Easy to charge battery without needing a docking station. Easy to store without falling over like many stick cleaners.

Cons:

Limited dust collection volume; one battery, so when it stops...., additional battery expensive option.
Takes an age to re-charge.

Not suitable for stairs and do not see optional stair attachment on offer. Read full review

Shark Duoclean Cordless

This refurbed shark, appears to be brand new! I love it. I love in a 3 bed apartment, 3 bedrooms are carpet the rest hard floor. I can (and do) hoover the whole house on one charge (have so far not tried "boost" for whole house). I have also hovered my car and sofas. I do empty it after every use, but that's more to do with my strange love of seeing how much I manage to hoover up each day! Its compact for storing, which was one reason I wanted cordless. I have used cordless Dyson (love these too) so really wasn't sure about trying the shark but its fabulous. So glad I bought this vac

I've wanted a cordless shark for ages but the high price tag is out of my reach. This refurbished one is amazing, you would think it was brand new! The flex feature is brilliant for easy access under the sofa and the different attachments are easy to use and swap over. It shocked me how much dirt came up since swapping from my old Dyson!

If you like to do all your cleaning at once then if recommend investing in a 2nd battery, but if like me you do quick cleans when you can around the kids 1 battery is perfectly adequate.Read full review

Great vacuum for exceptional price

I was a bit wary when I ordered this vacuum, as I had tried a cordless before and it wasn't too good. However, this vacuum has good suction ans is easy to empty. The vacuum works well. It has good suction, and the brush head is powered and picks up from the carpet effectively. The battery charges as described and a charge lasts a reasonable time.

With this type of machine, of whatever make, the weight is mostly on the hand that holds the motor/ battery/ waste box unit, but I have not found it onerous to use.

This shark cordless vac really is a great piece of kit, just used it once but couldn't believe the amount of dirt it picked up, I'm more than happy with it. Love my shark

Although shark feels a bit heavy to use at first I’m getting used to it. Easy to construct and to operate. Charge lasts well. The carry handle is very practical for using upstairs doesn’t feel so heavy in carry mode. Operational wise it’s fabulous I’m very pleased with how well it cleans and with ease of use including all the attachments. Wee bag great I hang it on shark and door handle of each room which makes me use them, previous vacuums attachments all lay in a drawer. Very easy to empty hair comes off coil inside with ease. Doing under beds an absolute breeze with the folding option. All in all I’m well impressed with my reconditioned shark. Would recommend.
