Lightweight sports headphone

I've had many Sennheiser in the ear headphones over the years, so I'll compare this to the models I previously had -- notably the PMX 680, the PMX 90, PMX 70, PMX 685, and a few more.

Pros:
- relatively cheap
- decent sound quality (on par with the other models)

Cons:
- does not fit as snugly as the PMX 70
- has a long cable (by contrast, the PMX 685 or 686 can be shortened so you can clip it to the top of your shirt - I don't need the microphone but I realize that this may be different to other people)
- wind sensitive (this is especially noticeable on bike rides)Read full review...

PMX685i from Asia sounds different

This is my third headphones PMX685i.
The first time I ordered it from China, because they are not available in Europe anymore.

It looks identical as my previous two models. The only small difference is the cable thickness, few milimeters thicker, then my previous models purchased 10 and 5 years ago.
But I'm shocked with poor sound quality ! I was sure I got the same quality as the previous (the same) PMX685i but unfortunatelly this one I got from China sounds really poor. !!!

From a PMX 80 user

After breaking my old Sennheiser PMX 80 headphones, I picked this up.
It is certainly lighter than the PMX 80, and the earpieces are smaller.-- for me they're quite comfortable.
There's a slight bit more adjustment to get it to sound right -- the bass is solid for its size, though I find the
overall sound is not quite as good as the pmx-80 but fine for my use -- exercising.

Lightweight, but no detachable part of the cord

Cons: the cord cannot be made shorter as in previous version of these headphones.

I bought the Sennheiser PMX 685i's on the recommendation of a friend. I have not been disappointed as these are the best sounding and comfortable headphones I have ever owned.
