Sleek and stylish

I really like the stealthy look. I have a smaller wrist, but the 43mm case fits well. It does have lume on the hands and hour marks, but they have a black coating over them so they are very dim. I wasn't really concerned with that personally, but if you're looking for bright lume, this isn't it. The nato strap fits the style well, but I went ahead and swapped to a satin black stainless bracelet. All in all, I really like this watch, it has become my daily go-to. Read full review

SRPD79 Seiko 5 Sport all-black

Got SRPD79, my first automatic watch. I really like the heft, the feel and the look of this watch. Mine runs 10-20 seconds late a day which is appropriate for a watch in this price range. Timer bezel is surprisingly convenient to time pomodoro periods and cooking time - I like the sound of the bezel and the act of setting time manually creates psycological anchor for the start of work period. Lume is nonexistent, "all black" finish makes it difficult to read the time in the dark, which is exactly what I wanted to be less distracted and don't worry about the time in the evening.
