Perfect, discrete, reliable watch at a great price

Purchased this to replace my old one which was stolen at work, it's easy to read, very reliable, adequate luminosity to see in the dark, not overly big, just very discrete & stylish enough to be noticed. Depending on your tastes you may want to change the strap to a flieger leather one, just looks better on the watch in my opinion. But I will say that the supplied canvas strap is more than perfect & strong for the job. Lovely Looking Watch, & automatic movement is great.

I got this watch for my daughter who has started Uni ,and she loves it. Looks great, keeps good time. Also I am hoping she has started a trend of young adults wearing a watch, so less time looking at phone screens and more time talking to her Uni friends, and being sociable. Perfect everyday watch.

I've owned three of these watches in the last 5+ years. I wear them at work (as a field engineer) and when dinghy sailing and lost the first somewhere after being bashed about for years, I'm wearing the second and have just bought another for spare.

Incredible value, excellent time keeping and long reserve in case you don't wear it all day every day. I love the looks, easy readability and the reliability plus find the day/date invaluable.

I'll wear one of these every day as long as I can get them and keep my more expensive watch for those days I don't wear this. Why hang £1000s on your wrist every day and risk it out in the rough when one of these looks so good and works so well? Similarly you don't have to wear a plastic battery watch to save your prized hand-wound chronograph...

The Seiko 5 is the best inexpensive automatic watch there is. Mine was under £90 so it was a bargain. They seem to cost about £120 nowadays but I still think it’s a good price for what you get. This Seiko is a neat crisp design without too much bling and is exactly what I wanted when I decided to treat myself to a new watch without breaking the bank.
