Security Door Bolt Key Extra Long Rack Bolts and Chubb Thunderfix

Recently, I purchased a set of two Yale security bolts for our back door. Unfortunately, because the door is 75 mm thick, the supplied key was too short (spline length: 33 mm) and would not turn the bolts.

Thankfully, the extra long key with a spline length of 53 mm turned the bolts easily. It was just what I needed.

The old key was not long enough as my French doors are extra thick. The key came a little too long, but this was easily sorted with a small disc grinder.
