Captures one's attention.

The book is in mint condition. It was supposed to be used, but appears new. The subject is a compelling hunt for treasure boxes that were buried by the author. Exciting exploration to be headed into.

Questionable hunt for a supposed treasure.

A few years back I was watching a TV show that led me to this book.
I found this book a mix of both imaginary beings and a treasure hunt.
The poems as I see them aren't in order with the pictures, very hard to follow or even begin any hunt. A lifetime could be spent searching in Cities. And never be any closer than I.
Nothing stays the same forever. Every thing changes with time.
Most likely half of the treasures have been found ( but never recorded, due to person not knowing item was linked to a vast treasure) ,or have been moved by construction or natural disasters. This is the strength of a treasure and the unknown.
If you're in a position that can fly to over 10,000 cities and search by using blurry pictures and poems, to hunt for Mr Priess treasures . Go ahead. But chances are you could be reading the wrong poem connecting with a picture. Or even be in the wrong city all togeather. You could be a few inches off or miles.
As far as purchasing the book.
I would say No. I feel that the price of the book is way too low, to be believable for such a grand treasure. I do doubt that the treasures still exist, or ever have.

Fantasy is not reality

The premise of the book is very interesting and the idea of a treasure hunt is always fun and compelling. The fact that the author of the book died before alt the treasures were found is disheartening. None of the treasures have been found in 10+ years and there are arguments about real locations of remaining treasures, plus the locations have been changed in recent years...not worth the time any longer.Read full review

Hrrmph

The book is ok. It will Work for me but the pictures are not clear at all. Can barely make some of them out and since it is s book designed as a map to lead you to a treasure you would think the pictures would be more focused and printed better. I’m gonna use the book but will have to google the images to see them better. CRead full review

Not what I expected

I assumed this book had the poems across from the coordinating picture. It doesn't. How are we supposed to know which one goes with which?

Don't buy this version by ibooks.

It's like the printer was running out of ink. Some areas the ink is so light that you cant even read the print. Also, all but a few pages are black and white. The clarity of the color photos are terrible. What a waste of money.Read full review

"X" marks the spot just where is the "X?"

An interesting book, with puzzles that will need time and imagination to solve.
