Broke after a minute

Used this to pump in my gearbox oil on my BMW. The plastic connection on the cap where the hose connects snapped after about 20 pumps. Did work okay but pretty slow, the hose itself is quite stiff so it tries to stay all wound up; i think this is why the connection snapped as i was trying to hold the pump while fighting the hose to stay in the fill hole. Bought this to flush and change rear differential fluid, did exactly the job it was supposed to,even fit on the 1L Dual Pump fluid bottle so i didn't need to use the one supplied.
Bit of a workout to squeeze 1.5L of fluid, twice, but couldn't have done the job without it.

An essentail aid when refilling a differential.

Excellent for reaching the hard to reach filler plug on a differential. However, it does take a LOT of pumping to transfer even 1 litre - I lost count eventually. It works better if the oil container and tube are immersed in hot water for a little while - it makes the oil less viscous and the tube more flexible.

Don't forget to make sure the filler plug can be undone BEFORE draining the oil.

I can't imagine how long it would take to refill a gearbox though, perhaps an electric one might be better for that.Read full review
