Fair quality product purchased to extract oil from a motorcycle primary chain-case
works ok but can be fiddly
the flexible pipe has a tendency to curl up whilst holding the body of the syringe to apply the suction,also the pipe as supplied is a bit short for some jobs, and may need to be adapted to suit the job you are doing!.

POWERFULL SUCTION
I purchased this oil suction syringe, to remove some oil from my cars engine, as I had overfilled it a little.
I first tested this syringe using water, and it leaked badly out of the screw on cap when injecting.
So I took the syringe apart and found no seals or washers inside to keep this syringe free of leaks.
As I am lucky to be gifted with DIY skills, I was able to make a rubber washer for the outlet end of the syringe and screwed the cap back on, I then carried out a second test, and no more leaks.
I run the car for 10 minutes to heat up the oil, and connected 2 metres of fine PVC tubing to the syringe using a PVC reducer connector, unscrewed the oil filler cap and pulled out the dipstick and pushed the tubing down to the sump, and I was able to remove the oil.
I only give this syringe three stars because the syringe does not have any seals to stop it from leaking.
This is a strong quality oil suction syringe, only let down by the lack of one washer, so came on Sealey get your act together, you would sell a lot more with no returns.Read full review

A cheap remedy for a potential problem.

It really does work well. The seals are good, no leakage back through to the plunger. The threads at the plunger end are not good - very easy to over-tighten and strip. If it only works a few times that's good enough for me.Read full review
