Seagate IronWolf Pro (7200RPM, 3.5-inch, 256MB Cache) 10TB Internal Hard Drive - ST10000NE0008

One of the best NAS drives there is but noisy.

I bought this hdd based on online reviews and recommendations. I installed it in an Asustor 5202T as a single drive. The performance is great and had no compatibility issues at all. Plugged it in, fired it up and it worked. That was nice! The only complaint I have is it's VERY noisy. It reminds me of PC's builds from back in the 90's. If there's any activity you hear a 'clunk, clunk, clunk" intermittently but if there's alot of activity it sounds like there's something growling inside the box constantly! Overall I would recommend this drive for NAS only but would place your NAS in an area you won't hear it.
