Clever, but limited...

A neat piece of design, and apparently well-made. However, buyers should be aware that the stated 20mm capability is an exaggeration, being the distance between the extreme tips of the cutters. 15mm is the actual maximum of this model. Also, it is very easy to trap finger-tips between the handles (which are hard plastic), one of which rotates to provide the geared action.

Fabulous Fuskars

Fuskars are the only ones for me! Bought my first pair of Fiskars Secateurs several years ago. Tried and tested through and through, still going strong! I find the rolling handle is particularly comfortable for my arthritic hands. I didn't notice before I got it but it comes in different sizes so I might have been better off with a small size that didn't open as wide but still very usable.Read full review

easy cut

My initial thought was it was a bit of a stretch for my arthritic hand, but the roll movement made this not a problem. Very sharp - I cut through a pile of large "twigs" in no time. My hands are small and my arthritis normally makes cutting painful after a few minutes - I managed 1/2 hour no probs. Maybe if your hands are weeny, the wide stretch might be too much. These secateurs are good quality. I like the geared handle that helps reduce tendency toward rsi. Only problem is that the blades are not so easy to sharpen.
