Poor design

This knife has a hollow grind, which is just wrong for this size of tool, it thins out the steel too mush for the things I would be doing with this size of knife, as the hollow grind will break the blade doing anything other then slicing. Read full review

What a knife

This knife is a very heavy well built knife. Super sharp right from the box and feels bigger than it is. I couldn't get over the weight of the steel in this knife. Nice solid handle grips. And the sheath is nice with storage pouch for ferro rod and sharpening stone. All around a very nice package for a great price. Well worth more than I paid for the heft and quality of this knife. Decent budget knife

I've owned and used this knife for about a year and a half now, and I have to say that for someone like me on a budget you can't go wrong. It does keep a pretty good edge but could be better and I'm not a fan of all the gimping on the handle and back of the blade. Other hand that it feels good in hand. I've chopped and batoned as well as made serviceable feather sticks with it. I would recommend the schf52 over this one because schrade fixed all of the aforementioned discomforts as well as beefed it up alittle with weight so that it does chop better. But I still like the schf37 and would buy it again.Read full review
