Top Quality product!!

I do recommend this product because it is well built. It’s a beautiful piece. I did not like the change of tone. I put it on a 2013 Gibson premium plus which had a lot of great sounds already. The only reason I did is because I was trying out a trem system for my les paul I don’t think I should mention the brand of the trem, but it is not for Experience players, too squishy I guess once you get use to a well set up fender Strat trem ,squishy don’t cut it on the schaller bridge I didn’t like the fact that when you set the bridge on the height wheels it locks them , there is no reason to lock them , they don’t move when your playing. Gibson uses hex screws to keep the bridge from falling off when you have to remove all six strings Read full review

Great bridge

I had an old tune-o-matic with sharp saddles that ate strings for breakfast on a Washburn CT3. Replacing it with this bridge was really easy and I noticed a clear improvement in the quality of the sound (better attack, fuller sound), slightly diminished sustain which is totally fine by me.

setting the intonation was pretty hard and it's important to pay attention while changing the strings not to mess up the string's distance between each other, but other than that I feel it improved my guitar dramatically.

Stay tuned!

Last year, I installed a Deusenburg Les Trem II on my 2016 Gibson SG P90. Great product, but had trouble staying in tune. Bought a cheap roller bridge first: waste of money. It wasn't adjustable so couldn't intonate the guitar or adjust string spacing. This Schaller bridge does both for around twenty bucks more. Wonderful product, don't waste your cash on a cheap one like I did, just go ahead and get this if you're using a bigsby, les trem, or similar trem system on a tune-o-matic bridge. I would put this bridge on any guitar in with that setup, even if it cost twice as much. Easy to dial in string spacing and intonate. My SG still doesn't stay in tune as well as my hardtail tele, but it's a huge improvement over the stock bridge. "Good enough for jazz," as my old guitar teacher used to say...Read full review

Perfect fit, valuable replacement of original Les Paul.

Perfect fit on my 1998 Les Paul Standard. Installation and adjustment were very smooth. Help guitar stay in tune.

wrong part

Schaller makes the best bridges, I always replace those stupid tune-o-matic bridges on my Les Pauls, but this particular bridge does not fit my SG

Roller Bridge

I have used this same model of bridge before with a Gibson whammy bar, and it worked great, helping the guitar to stay in tune. This time, I am using it with a 1974 SG Standard with Tronical Tuners to make it easy to be tuned quickly, with no strings dragging across an old style tunomatic bridge.Read full review

Not the 80s Schaller Quality any more

I’ve played and installed many of these Schaller STM bridges since the early 80s. I was expecting the same exact quality I was used to getting with the Schaller name. Apparently everything has changed since the grandson took over in 2007. The work is done in Asia not Germany. The metal is much lighter. The tooling is fast and imperfect. The chrome finish is decent. Sad to see Schaller value profits over quality and the passion for a better than average product.Read full review

Bigsby fixer.

Put this on my Gretsch G5620T with a bigsby which was unusable since it knocked the tuning out horribly. After considering locking tuners or other fixes I decided to try a roller bridge first and I'm glad I did. It works like a charm, guitar holds tune very well. I considered cheaper bridges but the string spacing was not right for a Gretsch. The spacing adjustment on the Schaller sold me, that and it looks sleeker than the cheaper ones. A little expensive but well worth the money.Read full review

Awesome Bridge

This is the best bridge I’ve ever owned and the quality is outstanding. Installation is very easy and string spacing (if needed) is easy as well. I highly recommend this STM bridge by Schaller as an upgrade to your Gibson or Epiphone Les Paul or SGRead full review
