Haviing had deep base propagator units with one over all plastic lid in the past, this one sits individual growing pods on to a slightly dipped surface and consequently doesn't get nearly as hot as the other type.. when planting seeds in each the deeper one with plastic overall cover propagated the seeds much better.Read full review
