Radio Problems Solved
This really solved a problem for me. No DAB, poor AM and FM plus limited regional station choice. Internet radio is a real solution to the issues listed. Using a good internet connection you can be better than metropolitan listeners. The alarms and timers are great too and the choice of battery or mains power. A real winner!Read full review

Disappointing
The radio looks good and sounds OK, but it's not easy to program successfully. Worse than that, it keeps forgetting the password for the Wi-Fi network. If it runs out of power, which it does after only about 3h on rechargeable batteries, it takes up to an hour to get back on the network. If you set an internet station as your wake-up alarm, about one in four times it has forgotten its password at wake up and you get a buzzer. If you need to adjust the volume while in the one hour alarm period, it takes it as an invitation to snooze the alarm! If you need to change the volume, you have to shut off the alarm completely and start the radio all over again. Go figure! Really annoying if you wanted the volume up to hear an interesting item on the morning news...
I came so close to returning the wretched thing, but alas there aren't many radios of its size with internet access.Read full review

Sangean WFR-27CWH
We purchased the Sangean Internet Radio because of the poor reception of the ABC radio stations we like to listen to. The radio was very easy to setup to our home wi-fi. Reception and sound quality are excellent. We especially like the fact that podcasts available on radio stations are visible with the station id. It's not necessary to search for them. An excellent and extremely attractive product. We could not recommend it more highlyRead full review

Still getting to know!
Am now using the radio through wifi to ABC Classic FM, and works well.
Am still working out if digital radio stations are available through wifi. Have not found any yet.
One minor criticism is that, when trying to tune in to DAB+ stations a number of stations are listed with a question mark preceding the name of the station. The operator manual suggests that these stations have been found previously; Presumably by the dealer at the supplier's premises. How does one clear these superfluous stations from the screen? Another minor criticism is that the radio itself refers to DAB stations, but shouldn't this more correctly in Australia be referred to as DAB+!Read full review
