Works Well, But Speakers are Small. Not a Long Term Solution

Very easy to set up. Added some volume to my current layout. The product is definitely not a high end surround sound entertainment solution, and the speakers are quite small for the price. But if you're on a budget and looking to quickly update your surround sound, this is a good start before diving into a high end system. Read full review

You get what you paid for

I think the word loud should be taken out the title. Even while next to the speakers I could barely hear it. The only time that the speakers get loud is when the sound is cranked up. When I do crank up the sound they service there purpose well, but other times the sound bar and sub-woofer are the only things I hear. I love Samsung products I only wish this lived up to name brand I've grown to love and depend on. *Open to suggestions on how to fix the problem if possible*Read full review

Great Product - Just Be Careful!

I'll start by saying that once I got these setup in my home (which is super simple) they work beautifully. By no means can you compare these to higher quality / more expensive speakers, but in that case you get what you pay for. At the price point these rear speakers, along with the reasonably priced soundbar are a great value!

CAUTION - do your research before buying just any Samsung rear speakers to go with your Samsung soundbar. My soundbar is almost 2 years old and when I went to Best Buy originally, the consultant assured me that any of the wireless Samsung speakers would sync with my wireless soundbar... Not True! After further research, Samsung used a very similar design over the years for both their soundbars and rear wireless speakers. Make sure the speakers you buy are compatible with the model number of your soundbar. Looking at the various models you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference without looking at the model number on the back. If you have incompatible models you'll be stuck wondering what the heck you're doing wrong because the instructions make it seem so easy to setup (which it is once you have the right speakers!) Great upgrade for older Samsung soundbars

We're slowly upgrading our TV equipment and started by upgrading to a higher-end Samsung TV. Our soundbar is one of the older Samsung models, the HW-K450. The newer wireless speakers from Samsung will not work with the older soundbars. And the older wireless speakers are nowhere to be found unless you come here on eBay. We were so glad to find these since they are the only model that will pair with the HW-K450. Like others have mentioned, they will not knock your socks off. But, to fill in the sound and allow us to enjoy a fuller experience with our new fancy TV, they work just fine and it buys us time to save up for a more sophisticated sound system upgrade. Best speakers you will hardly notice.

These small surround speakers are a perfect addition to the Samsung soundbar. Easily paired wirelessly with the soundbar. Just smSll wire from the receiver to each speaker and you are ready to go. Surround volume control on the main remote. Don’t expect to be blasted away with these surrounds. They fill in the sound and are are not obtrusive. You will barely notice they are on, until you turn them off and notice how flat the sound is. I think they are really good

The blue tooth receiver and the speakers arrived in great shape and in the time frame promised. They are small and sit easy on the end tables next to the couch. As stated these are about half the wattage as or sound bar and sub-woofer so they are not going to knock your hat off. If that is what you’re looking for you need to be spending a lot more money. These surround sound speakers did add to the sound experience when we are watching a moving. These speakers with our sound bar and subwoofer combine to make a system that is adequate for our family room movie viewing.Read full review

Great addition to my HW-K450 sound bar

Hi,

First of all to achieve the best sound quality your should play a 5.1 DTS movie if if the sound bar is connected through SPDIF or 5.1 DTS/AC3 if the sound bar is connected connected through HDMI.
In any other case the sound volume of the whole system + the rear speakers is low (even by setting the rear speakers level to +6).

If you use it as a 5.1 described above it will upgrade the sound experience.Read full review

Great little speakers

It should be noted that these only give true 5.1 surround if your Samsung soundbar is 5.1. That being said, they do give a good impression of a 5.1 system and if you are not a dyed in the wool audiophile, and don't want to spring for a 5.1 sound bar, the surround effect is quite good. It should be noted that the speakers themselves are not wireless, only the rear controller to which the speakers are attached. It is a fairly good compromise considering the expense of going with true wireless speakers. The system is pretty easy to set up. I was lucky enough, or should I say, blessed enough, to get an open box set for $40, and at that price, it was easily a great little investment.Read full review
