Good, but not necessary
The watch is handy if let's say, you receive a text and want to discreetly check what has been sent.
The battery is the killer for me, the bluetooth link drains both phone and battery. So to enjoy the benefits of the above, you pay coz your phone will be dead within 6 hours.
I literally turn off the bluetooth link 90% of the time. I brought it to replace the Garmin watch because I run alot, bad idea. Stick to Garmin, their watches are designed for running, this tries to do it all.
Also I find the GPS is not accurate on the watch. But it is excellent for keeping my steps up and pushing me like that.
But when I run now, I wear 2 watches, my Garmin and this.
Overall would not buy it brand new, but a second hand one, yes I would. The sleep feature is fantastic and has helped me understand and improve my irratic sleep patterns.
Finally really easy to change the straps is a handy feature.Read full review

Samsung smartwatch
Samsung has updated software to One UI which, for me works well and doesn't have much impact on battery life. I get an easy 2 days but it might be that I'm not a heavy user but good enough for me.
Samsung pay works well. Notifications can be a bit hit or miss with no vibration being felt. I haven't looked at the settings yet to see if this can be improved. Pleased with the condition of the watch, it was exactly as described.
I've made and received calls and happy with the quality of the speaker quality during the calls.

I am very happy with my watch. It has some amazing features like replying to texts or answering the phone, you can literally speak on the watch , checking emails, whether, samsung health and many other interesting features. A+ mic and speaker
So easy to use, just downloaded the app to my note 9 and I can edit everything, my husband has an iPhone and watch, but his watch has not got a mic or speakers, so for me answering calls and sending voice messages so easy, oh yeh and I can listen to music too, much to the disgust of my husband. I feel like James Bond
I've had a Gearfit2 for a few years but never really wanted (or needed) the additional functionality of a full smartwatch. Now I've got it though I can't understand how the hell I managed for so long without one!
I love having the ability to read/clear/reply to notifications etc without having to get my phone out.
Also, the functionality of additional apps etc is brills, right there on my wrist!
And finally, but most importantly, it makes a flipping awesome watch! Being able to choose and customise the faces means that no matter what I'm wearing, the Gear S3 Frontier compliments the look I'm trying to achieve.

Gear Frontier, all the smartwatch you need and then some.
Excellent watch, lots of faces to choose from, many free. Bought as refurbished but the only marks were on the packaging, watch is perfect. I also fitted a glass screen protector before I even put it on, if you look hard you can see it but better safe than sorry. A little on the large side, but I quite like that. There are plenty of useful apps out there, granted not as many as for the iPhone watch, but frankly some of them are more for fun factor than anything really useful. Love the do not disturb feature. It can be set between specific times so that you don't get disturbed when you're sleeping. The battery life is good. I'm not being particularly frugal with the apps that are running and I'm comfortably getting 2 days. Switch of wifi, bluetooth, gps etc and get more. Quite like the original strap, but I likwe that you can swap it for a 22mm leather or stainless strap if you prefer. It pairs easily with my Android S7 phone and works well with notifications, email, calendar etc. I use it in the gym and it links with SHealth easily. I haven't tried swimming with it yet (don't know if I will) but I have worn it in the shower and it was fine. I'm still playing with a lot of the features but I love it already and can't see me changing it for a long time.Read full review

What a Cracker
This is a fantastic watch once you change the strap its looks awesome I love an orangy leather like on the Fossil Marshal Q it really looks stunning this watch does it all And I love it The reason I gave it onlly 4 stars is that samsung are striving to make thier phones and watches a closed shop onlly for Samsung like apple do. And the dissapointment i felt when I tryed to use it with android gutted me . Samsung should and would do better to remember that the awsome Huawi watch and Fossils do and are android and they are feasting on what Samsung have done by not allowing thier watches to run on anything but Samsung phones. Thier you have it if you buy a samsung watch Samsung will bully you into buying a Samsung phone. SStill this is a top line beutifull watch that runs perfectly.Read full review
