Better Than I Expected

I bought this phone as a Christmas present for my nephew and I'm glad I made such a wise choice. This phone is a decent size, it's easy on the eyes and handles very nice. The battery life exceeded my expectations and it has lightening speed. My only complaint which is more of a suggestion, is to buy a phone case, not only to protect the phone but it's a little "slippy" in the hand so a case helps with grip. Other than that small detail which is an easy fix, I highly recommend this phone. Its Great for beginners and professionals alike.Read full review

Smaller than I thought

The phone is very basic. It has very poor picture quality and NO zoom in features. I am very disappointed with what I got, however, it was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. No emoji's or anything special for texting. It freezes up constantly, even while using wi fi. The battery does last long, but I really don't use it much. For a new phone though...I wouldn't expect such poor performance with the camera and freezing of the screen.Read full review

Best phone for the money

I recently got a Galaxy Core Prime from Metro PCS when I signed up and loved it right away. The battery life was amazing, the features were new to me, and the feel was nice. I had previously had a ZTE through a "Lifeline" phone company and hated it, even though it was my first ever smartphone, so I was quick to fall in love with the Galaxy Core Prime. Good Cheap Phone

If you want a smart phone, but don't have $600 to blow, this is a good substitute at around $80. This phone works well, holds a charge all day, has good sound quality and reception. There are more Android apps than I thought there were (I switched over from iPhone).

The only issue I've had is the phone freezes (or stalls) every now and again. It seems to me more like a (lack of) memory problem. I found a solution online: just restart your phone every morning before you head out. It seems to be keeping the problem at bay.Read full review

Everything I Need....

I love the size of the phone. I'm not a heavy web user so it suits me perfectly. Has excellent sound quality overall.

Still learning

I'm new at using the android communication system. So far, the battery life compared to my old flip phone is awesome. The sound quality is so much louder and better. This phone looks and works as it says it would. You can use it as a phone or as internet. The wifi works great. I love it but...

I have issues with the fact that I have to charge it every day, the battery is horrible. I also hate the fact that I can't send some of my apps to the sd card. so I constantly have to monitor the amount of space I have on my phone. It is a real pain. Slow

This phone looks good on paper, quad core, 1 gig ram, but it performs like it has 1 meg of ram. Super slow and laggy. I try to download apps from the google play store, and man it takes forever. Not only that, when I press the back button, it doesn't go back until several seconds later. I ended up selling it to another person because I couldn't stand it after 10 minutes of use. Other than that, calling is clear, photos are mediocre, so if you are on a budget, it's fine. If you want it to perform better than your Galaxy s2(that came out 4 years ago), forget about it.Read full review
