Excellent value
Have been using soapnuts for several years now, however this is the first time I have used this brand. I was impressed that unlike other brands these have an inner paper bag rather than plastic,and the quality of the soapnuts was excellent not small pieces. They perform well and can be used for up to four washes per bag which is excellent value.Clothes are left clean fresh and soft and they do not fade colours as other detergents would highly recommend.Read full review

Dont waste your money
Having now tried these on different wash cycles & temperatures, im £7.99 worse off before i bought them, and yet to see any form of 'natural soap bubbles' in any of the wash cycles.
Light marks are not washed properly, whites have a grey look about them and generally see no point in continuing to use them.
They maybe work well in india & save the world from detergents etc but hopeless in the UK and generally just a waste of money im afraid to say...sorry but i think i'll stick to having clean clothes with a normal washing liquid.Read full review

absolutely great product.when I first received the soap nuts I thought ewww it smells not good but I went ahead and followed the instructions. The clothes ,to my amazement didn't smell bad in fact the smelled really clean and they were soft. I think this is a great product and have ordered more.I also use the soap nuts to clean my woodwork and floors and around the house . The only thing I have come across is if a garment is heavily oil stained, it doesn't remove this.im going to try to rub the garment first with some soapy nuts and try again. shall let you know.Read full review

They work really well
A friend told me about how good soap nuts are years ago but I didn't believe her, I didn't believe you could put 5 little nuts in the washing machine and get clean washing, but it's true. I gave them a fair trial with my son's stinky socks and t shirts, the nut things smell a bit vinegary but when the washing comes out of the machine it's clean and sweet smelling, it's pretty amazing. I am also using soap but to make shampoo because I have chronic dandruff, and hope it will clear it up. Really pleased with tbis, the only downside is the vinegar smell of the bag of soapnuts, but it doesn't leave any smell at all on the washing, it just smells of fresh air.
A few weeks later, still loads left, and my washing is getting nice and clean. In fact, the soapnuts seem to work better than the detergent I was using, with a tiny bit of washing sofa (about a teaspoon) they get grubby football socks really clean, and that's on a cool fastwash. I think they're much better than I expected them to be. The rate im using them (a bag of 8 nuts a week) they will probably last a year.Read full review

I love these soapnuts just wish the shipping wasn't so expensive and the time frame was closer but I am not a believer in these. Got several bags and use it now everytime for my laundry. Don't have to worry about chemicals.Read full review

So far, so good.
I purchased this product to reduce the use of plastics, and only just used it for the first time today.
The wash was not large but included a couple of towels and everything seemed to come out clean and soft.
Shells came loose in the machine, so I'll have to be more careful about tying the string on the bag.
If this doesn't work, I assume a small zipped mesh bag would do the same job?

They work! I didn’t think they’d clean well but they do!
I’ve done 5 washes with the soap nuts and added essential oil for a fresh scent. One load was husband’s dirty work clothes and they came out very clean. Other washes were towels (very soft), bedding very clean and just a normal clothes wash. I’ll be using these forever now.

Great buy but less plastic please.
Great eco product BUT arrived in three plastic bags. Very disappointed, I'm trying to avoid our plastic use. Good product for tech wash and colours but doesn't get whites as bright as powder.
