Was easy to set up and works OK. It's good having the temperature recorder by you and not in a remote hallway. The only disadvantage I have discovered is that the holiday setting can only be for up to 30 days. Whilst this will not concern most people it does affect us as we caravan in Spain in the winter for 6 or more weeks. Great bit of kit.

This was an easy and cheap solution when the timer on boiler stopped working, A new timer was around £80.00 and this was less than half the price plus gives you much better control than the mechanical one does.
I already had a Salus remote room thermostat so the main unit was simple to swap as the wiring was the same.
The only thing is the programming is a bit difficult to understand no matter how many times you read it first so I strongly recommend going onto the Salus web site where they show you how to do it then it is all much easier to understand and it was up and running within a few minutes.
